all things fun

Browsing old magazine covers is so inspirational and entertaining. If only today's magazine covers were illustrated...

(This one is my favorite of the bunch)

Speaking of illustrations, I miss my Kindergarten teacher reading children's books to me. Now that was gooood education (although I have learned a lot from my demanding AP US History teacher).

Random pic of the day: 1933 german bookcover (collage by a 5-year old)

I straightened my hair this week because I have these horrible, unmanageable curls at the roots of my hair. Korean "magic straight" does the trick (it probably originated from Japan, not sure). So now my hair looks super flat, but it'll get better. :D

(when i was editting my photos, i thought about changing it to black and white, but it reminded me of the creepy ghost girls in the ring and the grudge because of my straight super black hair. sometimes even i scare myself with my asianness...)

(not to mention, editting photos is so fun! picnik is like photoshop for dumbies, and that's not an insult to picnik users!)

Wow, your hair is lovely!

I loved Madeline! Definitely my favourite book series as a child.

If you give a moose a muffif?! I totally remember that book! Hurray!

Photoeditting softwear is wonderful, and hair straighteners are a gift from the gods, I'm pretty sure.

Have a great day!

Lovely pictures! Haha, I've never tried picnik, but I must now. I love anything for dummies :P
and childrens books are just amazing. The other day, my bf and I were in a little bookstore and saw the most amazing pop up book for children, I wish I had bought it. My all time favourites have to be Robert Munch and the Velveteen Rabbit. Madeline was really good too though.

Btw, thanks so much for your wonderful comments on my blog, they mean a lot to me :) and yes, all my pictures are done on photoshop!
