finally i get to breathe

i took my AP US History exam today and i feel so free! now i can sleep, and actually do all my homework and not procrastinate! no, i'll probably still procrastinate, but the after effects will be much less worse. i felt like hugging everyone i saw as soon as i put my pencil down at the end of the test! HALLELUJAH! i can breathe now!

monday: took the AP Spanish exam and i dont think i did so well. i was half-asleep during the multiple choice and i missed something in the speaking part. oh well, maybe there'll be a miracle. hopefully i get at least a four!

p.s. i'm thinking about starting a "school/street fashion" kind of project where i take pictures of fashionable outfits at my high school that are cool -kinda like the sartorialist except with high school kids and my not-as-professional digital camera. what do you think? i'm kinda shy to go to random angsty teens, asking to take pics of their oufits, but if you guys are for it, then i'll do it. :) lemme know your thoughts!

Good ol' classy cartoons

Cartoons and short films are always so fun to watch. They compile all the funness embedded in a good movie and they're shorter! :)

Bambi Meets Godzilla is a 1969 cartoon by Marv Newland. In 1994, this under-two-minute classic animation was voted #38 of the 50 Greatest Cartoons of all time by leaders of the animation field. (via Wikipedia) Enjoy!

And if you have some time to spare I think these illustrations are also adorable. As a Spanish-language lover, I like the simple quotes and... the fact that it's in Spanish!! :)

the beauty of childhood

Short films make any day sweeter and The Red Balloon is just one of those delightful movies that do that. I think every person can reminisce running about with a balloon during his 8th birthday or maybe it's a fresh memory that still occurs. Either way, as aggressors try to steal the boy's friend and while the balloon is always prone to pop, this film highlights the preciousness of childhood through a little boy's delicate trust in his red balloon.
